Would you love to visit a place with exuberant nature and 500 km in the Pacific Coast?
Consider visiting Chile, a gorgeous place with many things to offer and very friendly people waiting for you to discover it.
Charming San Pedro de Atacama
This is a beautiful destination where you can spend either 2 days or 2 weeks. Atacama is an enchanted picturesque place. Imagine going back in time admiring adobe houses ( a natural building material made from sand, clay, water, and some kind of fibrous or organic material), which are shaped into bricks using molds and dried in the sun. Framed by the Andes Mountains, the desert in Atacama is the driest place on earth. Here you’ll find mining areas, and oasis towns. A great innovation you can find are fog-catchers. Created by locals a special mesh net is used to help extract water from the fog, an extraordinary place on earth to visit, admire and interact with some ancient communities.
Bohemian and Colorful Valparaiso
Frequently just referred to as Valpo, this city has everything to offer. From strolling in the streets, admiring the colourful houses, great artistic events, and fantastic views of the sea. Have your camera ready to catch the sunset, which is a delight. As this city has many hills, a nice attraction are some of the inclines (also called funiculars), which are still in use to bring you from the lower sea side areas, to the high points where you can take advantage of a great view. The oldest incline was built in 1883, and is located at the bottom of Cerro Concepcion.
Dazzling Chilean Patagonia
Get lost in this far land, which is close to glaciers, islands, and mountains. Marvel in the blue/green scenery magically mixed with the white of the snow. The Chilean Patagonia is divided into the North and South region. Aysen is a commune in the North region and houses Lagoon San Rafael National Park. Down in the Southern most region of Chile is region of Magallanes. Within this region lies Torres Del Paine National Park. Either region will definitely capture your attention.
Gorgeous Easter Island
This fantastic and intriguing place is located 3,700 km from the west coast of Chile. A five and half-hour plane ride is well worth the trip. This Polynesian island, however still a territory of Chile, is famous for its 887 monumental statues named Moai. Rapa Nui tribes created these statues, and today Rapa Nui National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its importance and beauty. This is a great site to admire, as one can get lost in time surrounded by those huge figures.
